Dr. Romina Pankow
After initially specializing in the field of neurology at the University Hospital of Munich, years at a large referral clinic and many years in general medical practice, pain medicine in particular has emerged as Romina's great passion. In order to be able to offer her patients integrative treatment options in pain therapy and - following the needs of her patients - also in the context of end-of-life management, she has devoted a great deal of time to her further training and various certifications (including in acupuncture, chiropractic, nutritional therapy, pain therapy and palliative medicine). The combination of sound scientific medicine with complementary methods is a great enrichment for her four-legged patients. She is the author of the book "Arthrosis in Dogs" - a guidebook for interested dog "parents", published by Kosmos in 2023.
Knowing about the fascinating self-healing and self-regulating powers of the body, she has always had a special interest in preventing illness and keeping her patients healthy. Good nutrition is of course one of the main pillars and one of the prerequisites for a healthy life. Her training in nutritional therapy, including in the field of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), has deepened her knowledge in this area. With Dog's Heaven, she has realized the idea of absolutely high-quality dog food that is not only heavenly fresh thanks to the new, innovative production process, but above all is processed as little as possible and is therefore significantly more natural than conventional dog food.
