Gentle sous-vide cooking
Our grain-free puppy food is cooked gently in its own juices at only 90°C for less than an hour using the sous-vide method. This gentle cooking process, known from fine dining and high-end kitchens, helps preserve the natural nutrients, vitamins, and minerals to a very high degree.
The slow and gentle heating makes the meat and vegetables incredibly tender and intensifies the natural flavor, resulting in excellent palatability for puppies and young dogs. At the same time, this method improves digestibility. In our own dogs, the amount of stool per meal has significantly decreased since switching to Dog’s Heaven compared to previous wet food.
Innovative cold-based preservation with HPP – for the first time for dogs
Our puppy food is preserved using the HPP cold-pressure method. Without this process, such gently and briefly cooked food would spoil in the refrigerator within about 2 weeks. By applying cold pressure at 5°C for five minutes, harmful bacteria and germs are eliminated while preserving the flavor, texture, and natural micronutrients. Dog’s Heaven is the first to apply this innovative method to dog food.
