The base for our bone broth consists of carefully selected bones and marrow bones from animals raised under animal-friendly conditions. Unlike most bone broths, we cook a bone content of nearly 38% (in relation to water/vegetables/herbs). This results in a significantly higher content of collagen and glucosamine in our broth.


Why is bone broth good for our dogs?

Our grandmothers already knew about the healing and supportive effects of a good strong broth – whether for a weakened immune system or during convalescence. Bone broth is not only a tasty treat for our dogs but also a pure powerhouse of micronutrients. During the long cooking process of over 24 hours, important nutrients, minerals, and essential proteins are extracted from the bones, all of which have positive properties. From strong bones and joints to supporting healthy digestion and a competent immune system, bone broth is an all-around booster for the well-being and health of our dogs.


What’s inside?

Our bone broth contains everything that is in the bone. From collagen and glucosamine to amino acids, minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, as well as vitamins such as vitamin D. Collagen, which is present in high concentration in the broth, is the most important structural protein in the body and thus crucial for bones, cartilage, skin, and other connective tissues such as tendons and ligaments. Due to the extremely high quality of the base ingredients and the natural, slow cooking process, all nutrients are present in the broth in highly concentrated form – and completely free of artificial additives or preservatives.

The wild relatives of our dogs, wolves, naturally take in all these valuable nutrients by directly consuming bones. Our collagen bone broth brings this nutritional building block naturally into our dogs’ bowls and thus supports a diet that corresponds to their natural physiology – without the risks of feeding actual bones.
